Pune Traffic Nightmare: Chandni Chowk Congested as Accident Causes Major Jam
Chandni Chowk, 29th May 2023: Commuters traveling from Mumbai-Pune-Satara Road and Pashan towards Chandni Chowk found themselves trapped in a frustrating traffic snarl today. The chaos ensued following a collision between a truck and a bus on Satara Road, approximately 1.5 kilometers away from Chandni Chowk.
As a result of the accident, morning commuters were caught in a prolonged traffic jam, causing significant delays and inconvenience. The authorities, including the Pune Traffic Police’s Warje Division and Pimpri Chinchwad Police’s Bavdhan Traffic Division, are working to restore order and alleviate the congestion.
Assistant Police Inspector Pawar from the Warje Division, provided updates on the situation stating that the vehicles involved in the accident are being cleared by the Pimpri Chinchwad Police. However, it is expected to take some time before the traffic congestion fully dissipates and normalcy is restored in the Chandni Chowk area.
