Pune: Three Drug Traffickers Caught By Anti-Narcotics Squad; Mephedrone Worth Rs 1.5 Lakh Seized

Pune, 14th October 2022: The Anti-Narcotics Squad of the crime branch caught three people selling drugs in the Wanwadi area. 10 grams of mephedrone worth Rs 1.5 lakh, a mobile set, a two-wheeler, total of Rs 3,63,000 were seized from them.

 

Mateen Hussain Memon (21), a resident of Sabera Park, Kondhwa, Shah Rukh Kadir Khan (29), a resident of Unity Park, Kondhwa, Anmol Singh Manchanda Singh (33), a resident of Saidwarka Society, NIBM Road, Kondhwa were arrested in the case.

 

The Anti-Narcotics Squad was on patrol. At that time, the team got information that two smugglers were coming to sell drugs in the Lullanagar area. After that, a police team laid a trap and caught Memon and Khan.

After the investigation, the name of the accomplice Singh was revealed. Then, he was then taken into custody. Items like mephedrone, two-wheeler, and mobile set were seized from them. The investigation revealed that accused Memon, Khan, and Singh were selling drugs in the city.

 

Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Srinivas Ghadge, Assistant Commissioner Gajanan Tompe, Senior Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad, Assistant Inspector Shailaja Jankar, Laxman Dhengle, Manoj Salunke, Yogesh Mohite, Vishal Dalvi, Pandurang Pawar, Sandeep Shirake carried out the operation.
