Pune: Thieves Target Car Parked at Sayaji Hotel, Steal Laptop and iPhone
Wakad, 7th October 2023: Late on Thursday, October 5, a car parked in the lot of Sayaji Hotel in Wakad, located on the Pune-Bangalore highway, became the target of thieves. The criminals shattered the car’s glass to make off with a laptop and an iPhone.
The car owner, Rajivaranjan Umeshkumar Sinha, 35, a resident of Talegaon Dabhade, promptly filed a complaint at the Wakad police station. Police have registered a case against an unidentified individual in connection with the theft.
According to the police, Sinha had parked his car in the hotel’s parking lot when the thieves struck. The stolen laptop is valued at Rs 70,000, and the iPhone is worth Rs 25,000.
Wakad police are actively searching for the thief responsible for the incident. The theft has raised concerns about the safety of vehicles and valuables in the area, prompting local authorities to increase vigilance.
