Pune : Thieves Steal Gold Bangles Of Women Passengers Onboard PMPML Bus, Arrested

Pune 21st August 2023: The Pune City Police’s Crime branch has arrested two persons from the city for allegedly stealing gold bangles of passengers from PMPML buses. The accused were using cutters to steal bangles from women passengers onboard PMPML buses during their journey. Two persons identified as Santosh alias Manager Sharanappa Jadhav (41) and Sudhir alias Tundya Nagnath Jadhav (45) were arrested in the case.

According to police, both accused have criminal record and they were nabbed following a secret information received about their presence near Koregaon Park area. Police have seized gold bangles worth Rs 1.20 lakh from their possession.

Both accused have been handed over to Shivajinagar Police Station for further investigation in the matter. It may be noted that the incidents of thefts onboard PMPML buses is on rise. The passengers have been advised to take precautions while travelling in the bus.
