Pune: Temporary Traffic Diversion On Laxmi Road For Walking Plaza

Pune, 10th December 2022: On the occasion of Pedestrian Day, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has organised a ‘Walking Plaza’ on Sunday (December 11) between Umbrya Ganpati Chowk and Garud Ganpati Chowk on Laxmi Road.

Therefore, traffic on this road will be closed between 9 am to 3 pm. The Traffic Branch has appealed that motorists use an alternative route.

All vehicle entry will be closed between Umbrya Ganapati Chowk and Garud Ganapati Chowk on Laxmi Road. Also, changes will be made as per requirement, depending on the traffic situation between Sevasadan Chowk and Umbrya Chowk.

Alternative routes are as follows: Vehicles going via Laxmi Road to Belbaug Chowk and Tilak Road will take Bajirao Road via Sevasadan Chowk.

Vehicles from Nimbalkar Talim via Laxmi Road will go directly to their destination via Kumthekar Road from Kunte Chowk. Vehicles travelling from Nagnathpar via Umbrya Ganpati Chowk via Laxmi Road will go straight to their destination via Patrya Maruti Chowk, Raman Bagh Chowk.

Whereas the vehicles going from Patrya Maruti Chowk via Laxmi Road will go straight to their destination via Kumthekar Road. From Khalkar Talim Chowk, it is advised to go to Vijay Talkies Chowk, Kumthekar Road, instead of Laxmi Road.
