Pune Teen Drowns In Canal, Police Arrest One Suspect And Three Minors
Pune, 4th May 2023: A tragic incident occurred when a 17-year-old boy drowned while swimming with his friends in a canal near the railway bridge in Shinde Vasti, Hadapsar Industrial Area.
Kunal Praveen Kamble of Ghorpadigaon was swept away by the current and has been missing ever since. His family had registered a case of kidnapping at Mundhwa Police Station as they were unable to locate him. However, after further investigation, the police have detained four minors, including Sachin Shrimant Mane (21) of Ghorpadigaon, in connection with the case.
According to police, Kunal had gone to get money from his mother and was accompanied by four other friends when the incident took place on April 28 around 1:30 pm. His family has been left devastated by the unfortunate turn of events. The police have launched a search operation to locate the missing boy and are continuing with their investigation.
