Pune: Talli Bar and Kitchen’s Sound System Worth Rs 4.8 Lakh Seized For Playing Loud Music In Koregaon Park
Koregaon Park, 24th April 2023: The Social Security Cell (SSC) officials of Pune City police took action against Talli Bar and Kitchen in Koregaon Park for playing loud music with a sound system on Sunday after 10 pm.
The officials seized the sound system and DJ mixer from the establishment, which is valued at Rs 4.8 lakh. The action was taken under the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control of 2000) Act against the hotel owner and manager.
According to police, the Social Security Cell officials were patrolling in the Koregaon Park area when they heard the loud music from Talli Bar and Kitchen in Lane No. 7 Koregaon Park, Pune. The officials immediately took action against the hotel and seized the sound system. The material (sound system) has been handed over to the Koregaon Park Police Station to take action as per the Noise Pollution Regulations under the Noise Pollution and Environment Protection Act.
The Koregaon Park police have registered a case against the hotel owner and manager under the Noise Pollution Regulations. The officials said that such actions will continue to be taken against violators of noise pollution regulations in the future.
The said action was taken under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Ramnath Pokle and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Amol Zende by a team comprising Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav, API Aniket Pote, and policemen Ajay Rane, Irfan Pathan, Amit Jamdade.
