Pune, 19th March 2025: Sur Seh Ttaal, a women-led organization dedicated to empowering female singers and artists, continues to create a meaningful impact through music and social work. Founded by Archana Sampkal, Roma Khemchandani, Reyckha Y Thadaney, Amina Lalljee, and Dipti Shah, the platform provides opportunities for women to explore their voices, build confidence, and connect with fellow music lovers.

Since its inception, Sur Seh Ttaal has successfully organized four major events, each fostering musical talent while giving back to society. Their second event, held on 7th October 2023, saw the group set a World Record in the Worldwide Book of Records for the maximum number of female singers performing at a single venue. A total of 75 participants sang 75 songs over seven hours at Hotel Shantai, Pune, making it a historic achievement. The event was attended by public figures, celebrities, and media representatives.

In December 2023, the organization felicitated all record-holding participants with certificates and medals while also hosting a pop-up exhibition featuring women entrepreneurs. Their fourth event, on 28th September 2024, focused on empowering singers through a live musical evening featuring 40 performers.

Beyond music, Sur Seh Ttaal has been actively involved in philanthropy. Their charitable initiatives include distributing blankets at old-age homes, organizing dental checkups for children at Apang School in Wanowrie, and contributing towards the marriage of underprivileged girls with Bharati Sindhu Sabha. They have also provided sanitary napkins to underprivileged schoolgirls and women in red-light areas. Most recently, on 17th March 2025, they collaborated with social worker Neetu Jha to distribute 100 hygiene hampers and sanitary pads. Senior Police Sub-Inspector Bhasme from Faraskhana Police Station graced the occasion and participated in the distribution.

Looking ahead, Sur Seh Ttaal is gearing up for its next event on 5th April 2025. This event will bring together talented singers performing live music and karaoke. Renowned celebrity singer Jyoti Gorane will conduct a special session to share vocal techniques and stage performance skills. Additionally, a pop-up exhibition will showcase products by women entrepreneurs, blending music with shopping for an enriching experience.
With their motto “Sing. Connect. Inspire.”, Sur Seh Ttaal continues to create a vibrant platform where voices illuminate, empowering women through music and community service.
