Pune: Sunil Shelke Comments on Pawar Faction Dynamics Amid Uncertain Alliances

Pimpri Chinchwad, 20th July 2024: Following a meeting between Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Ajit Pawar group leader Atul Benke and Sharad Pawar, there has been considerable discussion in political circles. Maval MLA Sunil Shelke commented on the situation while speaking to the media in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Shelke remarked that, given the current political developments in Maharashtra, there is no certainty about who will align with whom or who will form alliances. He expressed that it would be positive if Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar were to reconcile. However, Shelke indirectly criticized Rohit Pawar, suggesting that some ambitious individuals are hindering their potential unity.

Shelke stated, “Atul Benke welcomed Sharad Pawar upon his visit to the constituency. Atul Benke himself informed me that there was no political discussion between Sharad Pawar and him. Given the present political landscape in Maharashtra, there is no clarity on which party individuals will join or which alliances will be formed.”
