Pune, 11th June 2022: A rude incident has taken place at Abhinav Vidyalaya in Ambegaon Budruk where a 10th standard student was removed from the classroom for not paying the school fees and was made to stand outside the classroom.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic waves, students had to attend classes both online and offline last year. So on the first day of school this year, the students went to school with great enthusiasm. But on the second day of school, a class teacher made the students who had not paid their school tuition fees stand in the classroom. Later, the class teacher sent them out of the class.

Yuvraj Vaswand, former Sarpanch Ambegaon Budruk said, “Parents complained to me that 10th standard students were expelled from the class. When we went to the school to complain about this, we were told not to argue and meet with the Principal. But the Principal did not arrive. If the school continues to behave harshly with the students, we will protest.”

Rajiv Jagtap, founder president of Abhinav Education Society said that, “Classes IX and X started here in April. Students may be taken out of the class to check enrollment. We do not force any student for the fee. And we have also provided the facility to pay the fees in two installments.”
