Pune: State Level Youth Parliament To Be Held On 4th January

Pune, January 3, 2021: A state-level youth parliament is being held on 4th January at Gokhle Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE) in Pune. 68 participants from all over Maharashtra will participate in this online parliament.

Ministry of youth welfare and sports have organized a national youth parliament on 13th January at the central hall in Parliament house. To select the participant from Maharashtra, the state-level conference is being held in Pune. The state-level conference is organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra and the regional office of National Service Scheme (NSS). Maharashtra state minister of higher and technical education Uday Samant will be present for this conference.

Total 68 Participants from 37 districts have been selected from district level competition. Winner of the state-level competition will be given the chance to speak at the central hall of the Parliament, while 2nd and 3rd runner up will get the chance to participate in this parliament. The main aim of organizing this parliament is to make the youth realize about various social issues in the country.

PP Hinge, state director of Nehru Yuva Kendra and regional director of NSS D Kartikeyan will guide to this state parliament.
