Pune: Spread Happiness Foundation Steps Into Jharkhand, Collaborates with Local NGOs To Assist Tribal And Migrant Workers

Pune, 17th July 2023: Spread Happiness Foundation, a prominent Pune-based NGO, has taken a significant step towards improving the lives of tribal and migrant laborers by initiating a collaboration with local NGOs in Jharkhand. The organization’s Founder and Chief Functionary, Soumya Ranjan Mahapatra, recently met with various NGOs and tribal groups in the region to discuss critical issues such as healthcare, education, labor rights, and citizen rights.

During his meetings, Mahapatra listened attentively to the concerns and aspirations of the community. Inspired by their shared vision for positive change, the youth group and NGOs expressed their eagerness to work together towards the betterment of the community, particularly in improving the health, education, and citizen rights of the tribal population.

To launch this collaborative effort, Spread Happiness Foundation joined hands with the local NGO, Never Dying Foundation, to organize a health camp and blood donation drive in Adityapur Emli Chowk. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 100 individuals coming forward to avail health check-ups and participate in blood donation activities. The Chairman of Never Dying Foundation, Abhaya Sathapathy, expressed keen interest in future collaboration with Spread Happiness Foundation to further contribute to the welfare of the community.

The success of the camp was a result of the collective efforts of numerous individuals from different social organizations, including Sima Satpathy, Sanjay Uday Satpathy, Girdhari Kaibarto, Abhinash, Sikandar, Lalin, Bobby Kaibarto, Meera Tiwari, Arjeet Sarkar, Mousami Mallick, Binod Sathapathy, Jeli, Sedesana, and Janmejay, who all came together to lend a helping hand.

At the conclusion of the interaction, Mahapatra expressed his deep appreciation for the power of genuine connections and the impact they can have on the lives of others. He emphasized the importance of extending support and knowledge to empower individuals and create positive change. The experience also highlighted the significance of spreading awareness and advocating for the rights and opportunities available to those who may be unaware of them.

The Collaborative effort between Spread Happiness Foundation, local NGOs, and tribal groups in Jharkhand aims to continue spreading happiness and working tirelessly to uplift communities and make a long-lasting difference in the lives of tribal and migrant laborers.
