Pune : Shopkeeper Gets Torn Clothes Through Online Shopping, Case Registered
Pune 12th Sept 2023: A shopkeeper from Wadgaon Sheri has lodged a complaint with police against a person for sending torn clothes after ordering the clothes online to sell them in the city. The shopkeeper woman came in contact with the accused online who pretended to be in contact with manufacturers and assured her to get clothes at a discounted price.
The woman made online payment of Rs 2.97 Lakh to the accused after their deal was finalised but she was shocked when the order was delivered and she received torn clothes. The incident took place between July and October last year and the shopkeeper woman was in contact with the accused since then who kept on promising refunds.
However, when the accused stopped responding the woman approached police to lodge a complaint in the matter. A case in this regard has been registered at Chandannagar Police Station under relevant sections and police are investigating further in the matter.
