Maval, 2nd July 2024: Due to careless tourists, the locals of Maval Taluka are fed up and angry. The same incident that occurred in Lonavala, where five people were swept away by the overflowing waters of Bhushi Dam, shouldn’t happen again in Maval Taluka. To prevent such incidents, Shiv Sena Maval Taluka Chief Rajesh Khandbhor has demanded that the Vadgaon Police take proper measures.

Rajesh Khandbhor said that nowadays, many tourists come to enjoy the natural beauty of Maval Taluka. This area includes various temples, waterfalls, dams, embankments, mountainous points, and caves. As a result, the locals have had the opportunity to open some businesses. However, recently, due to some careless and undisciplined tourists, the residents of Maval are suffering, which cannot be denied.

In 2016, due to a fight between tourists and villagers, the Deputy Sarpanch of Wadeshwar lost his life. Additionally, some tourists have been causing trouble for local milk businessmen and school students. Vehicles are parked haphazardly on the roads, making it difficult even to walk. This often leads to fights and arguments. Those who visit with their families and act responsibly enjoy the peace of nature and return safely. However, due to a few undisciplined and careless tourists, responsible tourists also have to face problems.
