Pune: Senior NDA Official Files Complain Against Wife And Father-in-Law; Threatened To Lose His Job
Pune, 17th June 2023: A senior NDA official registered a complaint of beating by a wife, who is a retired judge and a retired colonel father-in-law due to a family dispute at the Uttamnagar Police Station. Accordingly, a complaint has been registered against his wife and father-in-law at the police station for beating and threatening
In the complaint, the officer, who is a Major in rank in the NDA, mentioned that his wife and father-in-law threatened and assailed him by keeping him locked up in the residence.
The accused wife, who voluntarily retired from her position as a judge and now works as a professor in a law college, had already filed a complaint of domestic violence against her husband. Her father is a retired colonel.
According to the complaint, in December 2022, after a domestic dispute between the officer and his wife, his wife and father-in-law kept the plaintiff locked up in the residence. The officer further mentioned in the complaint that he was prevented from going to work. He was also abused and beaten, threatening to lose his job.
Police Inspector Shabnam Shaikh is investigating the matter.
