Pune: Senior Journalist Sudheer Gaikwad Passes Away
Pune, 25th May 2024: Senior journalist Sudheer Gaikwad passed away in the city this morning after battling a prolonged illness. He was 75 years old.
Gaikwad had an illustrious career, serving as a sub-editor with prominent city newspapers such as The Maharashtra Herald, Midday, and Sakal Times. Additionally, he contributed his expertise to the renowned auto-magazine, Car&Bike.
Beyond his journalistic endeavors, Gaikwad was known for his musical talents as a guitarist and singer. He actively participated in several music groups within the city and expressed his passion for films through vivid writing.
The funeral ceremony honoring Sudheer Gaikwad took place at the Indian Christian cemetery in Hadapsar on Saturday evening.
