Pune: Search Operation Underway for Man Washed Away Near Ashtabhuja Temple

Shaniwar Peth, 27th July 2024: Dinkar Kumbhar, a 33-year-old resident of Parvati, was swept away by the Mutha river near the Ashtabhuja Temple in Shaniwar Peth on Friday. In response, a large-scale search operation has been launched by the Pune and PMRDA fire brigades.

 

Four vehicles from the fire brigades, along with officers and personnel, are currently engaged in a thorough search along the Ashtabhuja river bank, Dengle Bridge, and Sangam Ghat. The search teams are utilizing boats, ropes, life jackets, and life rings in their efforts to locate Kumbhar.
