Pune Schools to Remain Open on Monday Despite Weather Concerns: Collector’s Update
Pune, 4th August 2024: Pune District Collector Suhas Diwase has said that schools in both the city and the district will remain open on Monday (5th August) as the situation in the ghat (hills) area and the city is currently under control.
On Sunday morning, there were heavy rains all over Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad. On the other hand, ghat areas reported intense rainfall leading to the discharge of water from various dams leading flooding in some low-lying areas along river banks.
