Pune, 3rd July 2024: During a recent address to Dharkaris in Pune, Shiv Pratishthan Chief Sambhaji Bhide, also known as Bhide Guruji, made controversial statements.

He remarked, “The independence we received on 15th August is a pathetic and idiotic freedom. We do not want that independence; we want Hindavi independence. Additionally, heroines should not participate in the poojas and rituals of Vat Savitri Purnima.”

Following his remarks, Pune City Presidents from the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Prashant Jagtap, and the Indian National Congress, Arvind Shinde, staged protests on Jangli Maharaj (JM) Road and Kasba Peth respectively. Both demanded that Bhide be charged with treason against the country.

Additionally, in response, the Mast (all well) Group and Trast (problematic) Groups, both known for their famous ‘Puneri Patyas’, have engaged in a form of trolling against Bhide. On Prabhat Road, a banner from the Mast Group stated, “Women, dress in such a way that no one looks at you with ill intentions.”

Meanwhile, a banner from the Trast Group read, “Men, maintain a mindset that allows you not to stare at anyone, regardless of what they wear.”

These banners have now become a trending topic on social media.
