Pune RTO Seizes 65 Motorcycles Being Used For Bike Taxi By Rapido
Pune, 5th February 2022: After getting complaints from autorickshaw associations that two-wheelers are being used to ferry passengers using the Rapido bike taxi app, Pune regional transport office (RTO) today seized 65 motorcycles.
Regional Transport Officer Ajit Shinde assured the rickshaw associations that this campaign will continue. Shinde appealed to the passengers not to travel unsafely using such illegal motorcycles.
“Private bikes cannot be used to ferry passengers”, he added.
