Aundh, 29th May 2023: A 40-year-old woman has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against a Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) worker following a disturbing incident near Spicer College on Aundh Road, Pune.

 

The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 8:45 pm, stemming from a dispute over the brushing of their vehicles. The FIR was lodged at Chaturshringi police station on Saturday.

According to the complaint, the woman confronted Sujeet Satish Kate (26) regarding his reckless driving, which apparently angered him and escalated into a heated argument. During the altercation, the man allegedly made derogatory remarks and vandalized the woman’s car by smashing its windscreen.

The FIR also states that when the woman’s husband attempted to exit the car, the accused forcefully pushed the car door, resulting in injuries to her husband. The police have registered a case against the accused under sections 354(a)(4), 324, 504, 506, and 327 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The Chaturshringi police are investigating the matter and taking appropriate legal action against the accused based on the complaint lodged by the woman.
