Pune: Road From Shimla Office Chowk To Dalvi Hospital In Shivajinagar Now Open For Traffic
Shivajinagar, 16th March 2023: During the construction of the Pune Metro, some roads were barricaded and closed for safety reasons. Since the barricade obstructs road traffic, Metro has adopted a policy from the very beginning to clear the road by removing the barricade as soon as the work is completed.
95 per cent of the routes from Phugewadi Metro Station to Civil Court Interchange Metro Station, Garware College Metro Station to Civil Court Interchange Metro Station, and Civil Court Interchange Metro Station to Ruby Hall Metro Station have been completed and most of the barricades on the said routes have been restored.
The road from Matoshree Ramabai Ambedkar Chowk (Akashwani Chowk/Shimla Office Chowk) to Dalvi Hospital near Shivajinagar Bus Stand was diverted for the construction of Shivajinagar Underground Metro Station. The construction of the Shivajinagar underground metro station is nearing completion.
Therefore, the road from Matoshree Ramabai Ambedkar Chowk (Akashwani Chowk) to Dalvi Hospital has been concreted and opened for traffic.
