Pune: Results of Online Exams for 388 ‘B’ and ‘C’ Group Posts In PCMC Awaited

Pimpri Chinchwad, 5th August 2023: The eagerly awaited results of the online examination held in May for 388 posts across various departments of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) have begun to trickle in. The outcome for 15 of these posts has been disclosed, while the results for the remaining 35 positions, covering 11 posts, are anticipated within the next eight days. Additionally, the verdict for all remaining vacancies is slated for announcement before August 15.

A total of 55,082 students vied for the 388 available seats in different departments of the Municipal Corporation. Over a span of three days in May, the online exam was conducted across diverse centers within the state.

The recruitment was organized in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for a range of positions including Additional Legal Adviser, Legal Officer, Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Divisional Fire Officer, Park Superintendent (Trees), Park Inspector, Supervisor, Court Clerk, Social Worker, Health Inspector, Civil Engineering Assistant, and Junior Engineer Clerk.

After the examination, candidates were afforded the opportunity to submit objections. The review process for objections concerning 35 seats across 11 posts has concluded. As a result, the outcomes for 4,233 students will be unveiled within the upcoming week. Four positions, namely Civil Engineering Assistant, Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical), and Clerk, have passed the objection window. TCS Company has undertaken a comprehensive review of the raised objections, and the process of generating results has been initiated. The verdict for these four posts is slated for announcement by August 15.

“The students’ objections have been duly addressed. We anticipate revealing the results for the remaining 35 seats spanning 11 posts within the next eight days. Furthermore, we are committed to announcing the outcomes for all vacancies before the cutoff date of August 15,” affirmed Vitthal Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration Department at PCMC.
