Pune: Renowned Journalist Madan Joshi Passes Away in Chinchwad at 67
Chinchwad, 22nd March 2024: Senior journalist Madan Joshi, aged 67, from Chinchwad, passed away on Friday after a brief illness, leaving behind his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.
Having dedicated over 40 years to the field of journalism, Madan Joshi’s career spanned various roles as a photographer and journalist across numerous dailies, weeklies, and magazines. Beyond his professional endeavours, Joshi was known for his passion for theatre and active involvement in diverse spheres, including politics, social causes, education, and sports.
The final rites for Madan Joshi were solemnized at the crematorium on Chinchwad Link Road at half past eleven in the morning. His contributions to journalism and his multifaceted engagement with society leave behind a legacy that will be remembered and cherished by many.
