Pune: Real Value Enterprise Owner Arrested For Duping Investors Of Rs 86 Lakh
Pune, 1st May 2023: A man from Kothrud, named Nilesh Girish Joshi, has been arrested by the Pune police for cheating 32 people of Rs 86 lakh.
Joshi had a business called Real Value Enterprise and lured people into investing with the promise of good and attractive returns. The scam began in May 2022 and continued until the victims realized they had been defrauded.
According to the police, Joshi’s business had a good turnover in NSE and BSE, which he used to gain the trust of his victims. He convinced them to invest their money with him for an annual return. 32 people, including the complainant and his friends and family, invested a total of Rs 86 lakh 75 thousand in his scheme. However, Joshi committed fraud and did not return the invested amount as promised.
Rohit Gulab Khilare, a resident of Karvenagar, filed a complaint with Warje Police Station, leading to the arrest of Joshi. A case has also been registered against Joshi’s wife, Ashwini Nilesh Joshi, who is a resident of Kothrud.
The police have arrested Nilesh Joshi and are investigating the case further.
