Pune: Puneville A CHS Inaugurates 50 KW Solar Power Project and Recreational Facility

Pimpri Chinchwad, August 25, 2024: Puneville A Building CHS in Punawale has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability with the inauguration of a 50 KW solar power project and a new ground-floor recreation facility. The ceremony, held on August 25, was marked by the presence of prominent local figures and the enthusiastic participation of the residents.

The solar power project, which utilizes advanced Bi Facial N Cells technology provided by Nature Light Energy Solutions, is a forward-thinking initiative by the Puneville A Tower residents. With this project, the community aims to reduce its carbon footprint, achieve energy independence, and contribute to a greener future. The project features Adani Topcon N Cells, renowned for their durability and efficiency in sustainable energy production. Additionally, SolarEdge inverters and optimizers have been integrated to monitor each cell’s performance, ensuring maximum energy generation and addressing any potential issues promptly.

The day began with a serene puja ceremony, where prayers were offered to seek blessings for the community’s new initiatives. The inauguration was graced by the Chief Guest, Ashwini Tai Laxman Jagtap, MLA of Chinchwad Constituency, alongside Navnath Dhawale, Chairman of Adhira International School, and Jayaram Shetty, Ex-Corporator of PCMC.

In her speech, Ashwini Tai emphasized the importance of solar energy as a sustainable resource for the future. She praised the residents for being pioneers in adopting such an initiative in the Punawale area and lauded the committee members for creating a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow.

The new recreational facility, spanning over 4,000 square feet, is designed to foster joy and creativity among the residents, particularly the younger ones. The space is dedicated to various activities, including art, dance, music, and other educational pursuits, providing a secure environment for children to explore their interests. The facility also offers a place for residents to relax, read, and rejuvenate, enhancing the community’s overall well-being.

The success of this project is attributed to the dedicated efforts of the committee members, including Chairman Amit Ghodke, Secretary Sanjay Purbey, and Kunal Prasad, who oversaw the development of the recreational areas. Chetan Sindhwani played a key role in the ground-floor beautification, contributing to the project’s aesthetic appeal. The entire event, including the puja ceremony, was meticulously organized by the women committee members, Dr. Anita Kumthekar, Sofiya Patil, Dr. Deepika Gupta, and Bhavana Zambre.
