Pune, 25th June 2024:The British-era Cantonment Court in Pune, which has been deteriorating and facing severe space constraints, will relocate to the Mahatma Phule Sanskrutik Bhavan of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in Wanowrie. Starting on Thursday, 27th June, the Cantonment Court will begin operations at the new location due to the inadequate and dilapidated state of its current building.

Chief District Judge Mahendra Mahajan and President of the Pune Bar Association, Adv. Santosh Khamkar, will attend the inauguration ceremony. The Pune Cantonment Court, operational since the British era, has long faced challenges due to the lack of dedicated space, despite ongoing demands for a separate facility.
