Pune: PSI Suspended After Threatening Girlfriend’s Husband With Pistol
Kothrud, 8th April 2023: Police sub-inspector Pravin Nagesh Jarde has been accused of entering the house of his girlfriend and threatening her husband with a pistol. The incident occurred on February 19th at 10 am in a society in Kothrud.
The victim, a 43-year-old man, filed a complaint at Kothrud Police Station. The police have registered a case against PSI Jarde, who is currently posted at Shivajinagar Court.
According to the complaint, PSI Jarde had an immoral relationship with the victim’s wife and was pressuring her to leave her husband. When the complainant confronted Jarde about his relationship with his wife, Jarde entered their house and threatened to kill him, his mother, and his children with his pistol.
The victim and his family were terrified by Jarde’s threats but eventually gained the courage to report the incident to the police. As a result, Jarde has been suspended from the police force by the Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration) Jalindar Supekar.
