Pune: Prime Accused In Kishore Aware Murder Case Arrested By Police
Pune 8th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police’s Crime Branch has apprehended one of the prime accused in former municipal councilor and founder president of the Janvikas Samiti Kishore Aware’s murder case. The accused identified as Chandrabhan Vishwanath Khaldhe had been on the run for the past two months.
Accused arrested by police earlier in the case Shyam Arun Nigdikar, also known as Pravin alias Raghunath Sambhaji Dhotre, Adesh Vitthal Dhotre and Sandeep alias Nanya Vitthal More had opened fire on Kishore Aware in Talegaon Dabhade on May 12. Aware who sustained multiple bullet injuries in the incident was declared dead by doctors. A case in this regard was registered at Talegaon Dabhade Police Station.
Chandrabhan Khaldhe, who is claimed to be the mastermind of the murder was arrested from Nashik. The police teams were finding it difficult to trace him as he had stopped using his mobile phone and kept changing his locations. He had been on the run for around two months.
According to police, Khaldhe had stayed in Yavat in Pune and then in Hyderabad before finally settling in the Sindhi Colony in Nashik.
