Pune Porsche Accident: Grandfather Remanded To Police Custody In Driver’s Coercion Case
Shivajinagar, 24th May 2024: In a significant development related to the Kalyani Nagar accident case involving a minor, the court has granted police custody of the minor’s grandfather, Surendra Kumar Agarwal, until May 28. The accused grandfather allegedly kidnapped the driver and coerced him into taking the blame for the accident.
The crime branch took swift action, arresting the child’s grandfather for his involvement in unlawfully detaining the driver. The victim, Gangadhar Shivraj Herikrub, aged 42, filed a complaint regarding the incident.
As the investigation progresses, a total of three cases have been registered thus far, leading to the arrest of seven individuals.
