Pune, 30th May 2024: A tragic incident occurred in Pune’s Kalyaninagar area where a minor boy, driving a Porsche car, fatally struck two IT engineers. The minor’s father, Vishal Agarwal, his grandfather, Surendra Agarwal, along with a pub owner and manager, have been arrested in connection with the case. New details are emerging daily about the accident.

Today, Dr. Ajay Taware, Dr. Shrihari Halnor, and peon Atul Ghatakamble from Sassoon Hospital were presented in court regarding allegations of tampering with the minor accused’s blood sample. The courtroom witnessed intense arguments from both the prosecution and the defence lawyers.

The public prosecutor demanded a seven-day police custody for the three accused, citing the need for a thorough investigation. The defence counsel opposed this request. However, the court has remanded the accused to police custody until June 5.

During the hearing, the prosecutor argued that the blood sample purportedly taken from the minor accused was actually from another person. Allegedly, the syringe used was supposed to be discarded, but Dr. Halnor handed it over to a different individual. It is suspected that a substantial amount of money was exchanged to facilitate this manipulation. The prosecution stressed the importance of determining who requested the alteration of the blood sample report, thus necessitating extended police custody for a comprehensive investigation.
