Pune: Poona Merchants Chamber To Host Affordable Laddu-Chivda Sale From November 4
Pune, 2nd October 2023: The Poona Merchants Chamber at Market Yard is set to continue its tradition of offering affordable laddu-chivda at fair prices this year. The sale, which is scheduled to commence on November 4, will be inaugurated by MLA Madhuri Misal. Due to the rising cost of raw materials, the price of laddu-chivda has increased by Rs 10 per kilogram compared to last year. Customers can purchase laddu-chivda for Rs 160 per kilogram or Rs 85 for half a kilogram.
The event, taking place at Jai Jinendra Pratishthan, Najushree Auditorium (near Gangadham) at 4:30 pm, will witness the presence of notable individuals such as Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, Marketing Director Kedar Jadhav, and Chairman of Pune Agricultural Produce Market Committee Dilip Kalbhor.
The information was provided by the President of the Chamber, Rajendra Bathia, with the presence of other key members, including Vice President Ajit Bora, Secretary Raikumar Nahar, Joint Secretary Eshwar Nahar, Former President and Present Director Praveen Chorbele, Director Dinesh Mehta, Navin Goyal, Ashish Dugad, and Uttam Bathia.
State-of-the-art machinery will be used to prepare the laddu-chivda, and food technicians have been appointed to maintain product quality. Additionally, workers will undergo medical examinations to ensure the quality and safety of the products.
For the convenience of customers, affordable laddu-chivda will be available at various locations throughout Pune, including Vyapar Bhawan, Market Yard, Grahak Peth on Tilak Road, Azad Mitra Mandal at Pushpa Mangal Office in Bibvewadi, and more.
