Pune Police Crack Case: Man Arrested for Murdering Brother-in-Law in Wanowrie
Wanowrie, 26th June 2024: The mystery behind the discovery of a dead body in the Lulla Nagar area of Wanowrie, Pune, has been solved by Crime Branch Unit 5 of the Pune Police.
A man was arrested for killing his brother-in-law, who allegedly tortured his sister. The victim, identified as Maviya Liyakat Hussain Pathan (23), was a resident of Kondhwa and worked as a delivery boy. He was murdered on Monday, June 24th, around 11 PM.
Crime Branch Unit 5 arrested Arvind Amrut Kamble (26), a resident of Gultekdi, and Rohit Hanumant Putage (19), a resident of Katraj. Kamble, the main perpetrator, was a gym trainer and had a history of criminal activities with cases registered against him in the Bibwewadi, Market Yard, and Wakad Police Stations.
