Pune Police Arrest Two More in L3 Club Drug Case; Total Reaches 15
Shivajinagar, 1st July 2024: A video surfaced showing a group of youths consuming drugs at the L3 Liquid Liger Lounge on Pune’s famous Fergusson College (FC) Road. Previously, Pune Police arrested two individuals for consuming drugs and three others, including a Nigerian citizen, for supplying them.
Now, two more individuals involved in this case, Akshay Swami and Aryan Patil, were identified and arrested by Shivajinagar Police. This investigation revealed that drugs were being sold through social media.
Before this, Abhishek Amol Sonawane, Onkar Ashok Sakat, and Nigerian citizen Idoco Staveley were also arrested. So far, Pune Police have arrested a total of 15 people in connection with this drug case. Among those consuming drugs at the party were Nitin Thombare (age 34, resident of Mumbai) and Karan Mishra (age 34, resident of Mundhwa).
During their investigation, the police discovered Swami and Patil’s involvement in drug distribution. Shivajinagar Police are continuing to investigate this matter further.
