Pune Police Arrest Man for Assaulting Schoolgirl in Abandoned Building
Khadki, 20th July 2024: The person who assaulted a school-going girl has been arrested by Pune Police. The assault occurred in an abandoned building. The girl, gathering courage, reported the incident to her mother, who then filed a complaint at Khadki Police Station.
Khadki Police have arrested Nagesh Yerpelnellu (age 40, resident of Bopodi). A case has been registered against him for obscene behaviour under the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). Khadki Police are investigating the matter further.
