Pune: PMPML Warns Public To Not Fall For Fake Recruitment Bait, Lodge Complaint With Police
Pune 10th Oct 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has warned the people to not fall for the fake recruitment bait as the officials have come across a person who was provided a fake appointment letter by fraudsters. The PMPML officials have also forwarded the matter to the Pimpri Chinchwad Police to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
According to the PMPML, a youth had come to Nigdi Depot with a recruitment letter on October 7 to start work with PMPML. Upon checking, the officials realised that the appointment letter was fake and the youth was duped. The aspirant was informed that no recruitment was done by PMPML as claimed in his appointment letter. A complaint has been registered with the Nigdi Police Station for further investigation in the matter by the Nigdi Depot manager.
The officials have urged the youngsters to not fall prey to such frauds as no recruitment is being undertaken by the PMPML. The officials have appealed to people to not believe any rumours about the recruitment. It may be noted that the transport body had in the past also issued advisories to citizens to not believe recruitment related messages on the social media platforms.
