Pune: PMPML Starts ‘Pravasi Mitra’ Initiative To Collect Feedback From Citizens
Pune 20th August 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Private Limited (PMPML) has started an initiative ‘Pravasi Mitra’ to collect feedback about its services from citizens. The initiative aims to improve the public transport system in the city and increase participation of commuters.
According to the PMPML officials, those enrolled as ‘PMPML Pravasi Mitra’ can share details about various problems with the PMPML service in the city. This include behavioural issues of drivers and conductors, bad condition of bus stops, recommendation for the new bus stop, new route or good service by the PMPML employees including drivers and conductors.
The PMPML will provide official identity cards to those enrolled under the initiative and 10 such members will be rewarded with a free pass to travel in PMPML buses for one year on the occasion of foundation day of PMPML every year. The selection will be based on their overall performance in a year. Those willing to enroll themselves as ‘PMPML Pravasi Mitra’ can send details such as their name, address, profession, mobile number, Aadhar Card number, Colour Passport Photo and a letter of intent to work with PMPML without any payment to [email protected]. Chief Transport Officer of PMPML will take a decision on giving identity cards to the enrolled members.
