Pune: PMPML Bus Skids, Rams Into JCB At NDA Chowk

Pune, 27th August 2023: An accident involving a PMPML bus transpired during the early hours as it was en route from NDA Chowk (Chandni Chowk) to Kothrud Depot for a CNG refill. The incident took place when the driver encountered an inability to engage the brakes, causing the bus to veer off the road and land in a ditch. Although the driver emerged unscathed, the bus endured significant damage.

The bus, operated by a contractor, belonged to the Balewadi depot and the mishap occurred at 3 am. The bus was progressing towards its destination when it skidded on a slope and collided with a JCB. While the driver remained unharmed, the bus sustained substantial impairment.
