Pune: PMC To Recruit 500 Teachers For Municipal Schools

Pune, 2nd July 2024: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to recruit 500 teachers to improve the management and quality of education in its civic schools, especially in newly merged villages. This recruitment drive will be conducted in collaboration with the district collector’s office, according to a civic official.

“The goal is to enhance the education system in the newly merged areas,” the official explained. “We have received the necessary approvals from the state government, and we are considering using the Pavitra portal for the recruitment process. Teachers will be placed in schools of various mediums.”

Currently, PMC operates 287 schools.
