Pune, 4th September 2024: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued notices to as many as 226 stall vendors selling Ganesha idols after setting the shop by blocking the road and footpath.

The nation is all set to celebrate the Ganeshotsav from 7 September for which the Ganesha idols are being booked by Pune residents. It was reported that there are idol-selling stalls in the suburbs as well as in the central part of the city located on footpaths, and roads resulting in a lot of traffic congestion.
