Pune: PMC Asks BJP Leader Sanjay Kakde To Remove Unauthorized Construction From One Of His Properties Within 30 Days
Pune 13th Oct 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) Building Department has issued a notice to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Member of Parliament Sanjay Kakade regarding unauthorized constructions at Kakade Palace Mangal Karyalaya. The PMC officials have asked the BJP leader to remove the unauthorized constructions within 30 days and warned of further legal action for failing to remove it in time.
The officials have also said that the construction will be demolished if it is not removed within the next 30 days. Information about the unauthorized constructions at Kakade Palace Mangal Karyalaya was sought through Right to Information (RTI) by several activists. The civic body while taking cognisance of the matter investigated the unauthorized constructions and during the inspection it was found that the entire construction on the second floor, covering an area of 251 sq. meters and the complete construction on the third floor covering an area of 420 sq. meters were unauthorized.
