The Sadhu Vaswani bridge, which was constructed by the Public Works Department 49 years ago to connect the Camp and Koregaon Park areas, will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge. Ltd. submitted the lowest tender of Rs 58 lakh 11 thousand 336, and it was approved. The traffic on this bridge will be diverted from the road in the Pune station area once the work begins. The project has a deadline of 24 months, excluding monsoon, and traffic will have to be diverted by other routes during the construction period.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will be constructing a bridge over the Mula River between Bopodi and Aundh to connect Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad city. The Pune Municipal Corporation will pay 50 percent of the cost, which will amount to Rs 18.13 crore out of the total cost of Rs 36.25 crore.
