Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shares Video Guide on Reporting Potholes

Pimpri Chinchwad, 6th August 2024: In a proactive move to improve the quality of city roads, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh has appealed to residents to report potholes through the PCMC Smart Sarathi app. Singh shared a video on X (Twitter) explaining the simple process for reporting grievances related to potholes.

In the video, Commissioner Singh encouraged residents to actively participate in making the city’s roads smoother and safer. “Report potholes on PCMC roads. Simply download the PCMC Smart Sarathi app, go to the Report Grievances section, upload a photo of the pothole, share the details and address, and the corporation will ensure action to repair the potholes,” he explained.

The initiative is part of a broader effort by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to engage the community in maintaining and enhancing urban infrastructure. By utilizing the PCMC Smart Sarathi app, residents can directly contribute to identifying and resolving road maintenance issues promptly.

Commissioner Singh’s appeal highlights the importance of community involvement in urban governance and underscores the PCMC’s commitment to responsive and efficient public service.
