Pimpri Chinchwad, 18th June 2024: Employment opportunities in Pimpri Chinchwad are now accessible through the PCMC Smart Sarathi App’s job portal. Local companies have taken the initiative to post their vacancies on this platform.

Sandeep Belsare, president of the Small Industries Association, expressed optimism that this job portal will bridge the gap between job seekers and local businesses.

PCMC Smart Sarathi is the official mobile app of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Pimpri Chinchwad Smart City Limited. The app now includes a ‘Job Portal’ feature for citizens, where employment information will be regularly updated. This portal serves as a central information hub for job vacancies in the city.

The job portal aims to make job information easily accessible to citizens, facilitating employment and helping establishments find skilled manpower. Companies are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

Pimpri Chinchwad is home to hundreds of small entrepreneurs who frequently need manpower for various positions. This demand often draws workers from outside the district. However, by informing local citizens about these opportunities, it is hoped that significant employment will be generated within the city itself, benefiting local youth seeking jobs.

The president of the Pimpri Chinchwad Small Industries Association and secretary Jayant Kad have urged entrepreneurs to list their job vacancies on the portal. This information will reach a broad audience, streamlining the recruitment process.

Entrepreneurs are requested to email details such as the total number of posts, post names, company name, contact person name, email ID, total vacancies, nature of work, and vacancy start and end dates in PDF format to [email protected].

“This initiative will help various establishments find skilled manpower and will create a bridge between citizens looking for employment and local businesses. By employing local citizens, this will help strengthen the city’s economy,” added Belsare.
