Pune: PCMC Registers Third Case Against Unauthorized Schools

Pimpri Chinchwad, 18th July 2024: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has initiated a drive to take action against unauthorized schools, resulting in a third case being registered. On 15th July, cases were filed against Orchids The International School and Little Stars English Medium School at Chinchwad Police Station. Now, a third case has been registered against Ideal English Medium School in Pimple Gurav.

Vilas Dayaram Patil (51, resident of Navi Sangvi) filed a complaint at Sangvi Police Station. Sangvi Police have registered a case against Chandrakant Khodade (resident of Pimple Gurav) under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 318 (cheating) and 336 (forgery).

According to police reports, from April 2024 to 17th July 2024, the Ideal English Medium School’s director, Chandrakant Khodade, did not comply with any of the rules and conditions set by the government. Fees were collected from parents by admitting students unauthorizedly. The complaint states that the school deceived the government, students, and parents by pretending to be official while operating without authorization, thereby taking possession of other educational documents. Police Sub Inspector Khalate from Sangvi Police Station is investigating the matter further.

Previously, a case was registered against Shrey Kumar of Little Stars English Medium School in Chinchwad. Additionally, cases were filed against J D’Costa (residing in Bangalore) and Sameer Gorde (residing in Viman Nagar) of Orchids The International School. Now, a case has been registered against a third school for operating unauthorizedly in Pimpri Chinchwad.
