Pune: PCMC Approves Expenditure Of Rs 43.98 Crore For Several Development Works

Pimpri, 8th September 2021: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has approved a total expenditure of Rs 43.98 crore for various development works in an online meeting of the Standing Committee held today.

Plans approved:

  • Development of a 12-meter wide road from Hedgewar Bridge to Kunal Residency in Ward No. 23 at a cost of Rs 44 lakh 20 thousand.
  • An expenditure of Rs 1 crore 92 lakhs was sanctioned for a statue of Shivaji Maharaj at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk in Ward No. 27 Rahatani.
  • For preventing the emergence of coronavirus and preventing the spread of communicable diseases, 36 workers and 2 supervisors for three months at an expenditure of Rs 29.47 lakh as per the Minimum Wages Act.
  • The cost of procuring medicines and materials for preventing the spread of coronavirus was approved at a cost of Rs 45 lakh.
  • The extension for 140 beds at the Jumbo Covid Hospital at Annasaheb Magar Stadium at a cost of Rs 1.42 crore.
  • Approval of Rs 1 crore 22 lakhs for beautification of Tata Motors Road Bhosari to Thermax Chowk road.
  • Approved the expenditure of Rs 71 lakh 77 thousand for the maintenance and beautification of road divider under C and E ward offices.
  • 37 lakh 10 thousand was sanctioned for the purchase of chassis for Blood Mobile Collection Vans.
