Pune: Past Grudges Lead to Vehicle Vandalism in Kale Padal Area of Hadapsar

Hadapsar, 1st October 2024: The Pune District is currently facing a surge in incidents involving the vandalism of vehicles by notorious offenders. Recently, in the Kale Padal area of Hadapsar, a gang vandalized nine vehicles, including cars and auto-rickshaws, motivated by previous animosity. A case has been registered at the Wanowrie Police Station against five individuals in connection with this incident.

Abhishek Uddhav Zagade (age 24, resident of Kale Padal) filed a complaint at Wanowrie Police Station, which includes allegations against five people, including Sahil Kamble (also a resident of Kale Padal).

According to reports, an argument occurred between Sahil and Abhishek a few days ago. Fueled by anger, Sahil and his accomplices went to Abhishek’s home yesterday afternoon. Using wooden sticks and stones, they vandalized two cars, two tempos, and five auto rickshaws, instilling fear in the neighborhood. Upon receiving information about the incident, Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Patange, along with Police Sub-Inspector Sanjay Adaling and Avinash Shinde, rushed to the scene. The police arrested Sahil Kamble later that night and are currently searching for his accomplices.
