Pune: Pashan Residents to Receive Enhanced Water Supply, Assures Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil
Pashan, 22nd May 2023: Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil has provided reassurance that the ongoing low-pressure water supply issue in Pashan will be resolved promptly, ensuring smooth and consistent water supply akin to that of Baner-Balewadi. The Guardian Minister interacted with the residents of Pashan on Sunday during a visit, where he addressed their concerns.
Present at the event were Punit Joshi, President of BJP Kothrud Mandal, along with BJP leaders Ganesh Kalamkar, Prahlad Saikar, Rahul Kokate, Sunny Nimhan, Rohan Kokate, Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Kalate from the Aundh Ward Office, and several other dignitaries and local citizens.
During the interaction, the residents of Pashan raised several issues, including low-pressure water supply, traffic congestion, waste management, increased police patrolling, and the establishment of a yoga study center. Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil promptly instructed the relevant authorities to address these concerns without delay.
He personally contacted Superintending Engineer Anirudh Pavaskar over the phone to discuss the matter of low-pressure water supply and suggested measures to ensure smoother water flow.
In addition, the Guardian Minister directed the police officers to take strict action against individuals who cause traffic jams due to reckless driving. Furthermore, he expressed his intention to establish a yoga center after consulting with the commissioner, promoting a healthier lifestyle among the citizens.
The residents expressed their satisfaction with the initiative undertaken by Guardian Minister Patil to involve the public in waste management efforts. However, concerns were raised regarding the obstruction of traffic caused by radar placements along the highway. The Guardian Minister assured the residents that a solution to this issue would be found promptly.
