Pune, 17th April 2023: Governmental consolidated information on the lands in the district along with various villages, towns, and talukas of the state is not yet available. Therefore, information on various types of land such as forests, waqf, shrines, and leaseholds will be collected.

For this, the Revenue Department of the State Government has undertaken a project called ‘Revenue Record Registry Framework’. With the help of this project, information on each type of land will be available village-wise.

A report is prepared based on Tehsildar in each tehsil as well as based on districts. The same report for the state is also prepared. The said process is currently done manually resulting in the reports being subject to technical errors.

A new project called Revenue Record Registry Framework has been undertaken by the Revenue Department to ensure accurate and on-time reporting. The Land Records Department informed that the information can be collected at the Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar, and Collector as well as at the state level.

There are currently sixteen types of land. While giving information in this regard to the Collector, if the area of the land is known, it will be easy for monitoring and management. There is a change in the tenure of lands from Class II to Class I.

A computer system will be developed so that its information is updated and available continuously. It will be possible to monitor whether the changes have been made following the proper permission or not.
