Pune: NCP President Sharad Pawar to Share Dais with PM Modi at Lokmanya Tilak National Award Ceremony
Pune, 31st July 2023: Pune is abuzz with discussions surrounding the upcoming Lokmanya Tilak National Award ceremony, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be felicitated.
Notably, NCP President Sharad Pawar will be present on the dais during the event, despite the circumstances causing displeasure in Congress and Thackeray group. Dr Kumar Saptarshi, who met with Sharad Pawar at his residence in Modi Bagh, shed light on the situation.
Dr Saptarshi mentioned that despite requests to refrain from attending the event, Sharad Pawar remains firm in his decision to share the platform with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He recounted Pawar’s statement, “I have personally secured Prime Minister Modi’s time for the Tilak Award, so it is impossible for me to avoid going there.”
The award ceremony, scheduled for Tuesday (August 1), promises to be an intriguing occasion, bringing together prominent political figures for the prestigious honor bestowed upon PM Modi. As anticipation builds, all eyes will be on the platform where Pawar and Modi will stand together at this significant event.
